Old German Eb tuba

Post by bigtubby »

Recently bought this carcass mainly for the clocksprings - and tubing/valve for an Eb monster 4th valve addition.

Sans bell but otherwise pretty complete and probably salvageable, especially since I have a bell that will work for it. Two questions for the TNFJ:

1. Whatzit? Based on one Horn-U-Copia photo, I'm leaning toward Miraphone/Mirafone:

2. Is there a market for German Eb tubas? While I'm happy to part it out, if it might have value to someone as a player, that's even better.
