Looking for an old post - conn 36J refurb?

Post by Will Jones »

I swear someone had a conn 36J refurbished, maybe in ohio. But I can't seem to find those old posts - anybody know what I'm talking about?

If you're referring to this one, George sold his repair shop and it is now called Beeman Brass Works. They have also moved locations. Another one of my horns is there right now and the new owner, Everett, does great work!

Pm sent. George didn't retire. He just sold the repair shop side of his business. The guy he sold it to worked at Borodi as well from my understanding. I would say it's worth the drive to Cleveland from Dayton. They did great work on mine. I would recommend them to anyone.

Gary Dafler at Hauer Music in Dayton has been my go-to repair guy for many years. He has always done terrific work and is also one of the world’s truly nice guys. Beeman does fine work but you might want to run it by Gary first to potentially save yourself some driving.

+1. Gary has worked on several of my horns and I have been very satisfied.
