The usual online services came up empty, maybe a TNFJ member will know this. This is just the first few lines as I remember them- I've heard it played on the organ a long time ago. Thanks in advance for any help.

When in doubt, ask the TNFJ. Thanks, Wade!!!!!

Now to see if I can find a brass or brass/organ arrangement. What arrangement do you all use?

Then he did a version in Bb with timpani that is a little easier on the trumpet chops for playing over and over at graduation processionals, etc. It is not available, sorry to say. He does have arranging rights as well as mechanical (recording and live performance) rights for our group's use. He does not have publication rights, though, and distribution would fall under that, I think. Most of his arrangements are copyright in this manner; most of mine are, too.
OK- had to ask 8) I did find a brass/organ arrangement that I liked, and bought it.
Thanks- I saw that one but it's in the wrong key. Many folks wouldn't notice, but to me it just doesn't sound quite right transposed that far up.

Amazing how a great piece of music stays with you. I probably last heard it 30-some years ago and, though I forgot the title and composer, never forgot the music itself. Hopefully we'll play it before long.

Yes - the first time I played it was in concert band in junior high school (much more than 30 years ago  )

I recall it was in B flat....

Update for those of us who wish we were that good, and may be interested in arrangements of this piece- I found a brass quintet arrangement here, with a sample sound file which sounds quite rushed:

The brass/organ one I noted earlier is available here:
