Odd Duck! Soviet Era Kaiser style Bb Baryton. Whaddaya know?

I checked out this horn in a consignment shop. Had not seen one before.
Bell is marked KCHX, which is a Russian, Soviet era, maker, apparently. Could be 1962, that seems about right for condition. But I can only find other baritones online, being sold as wall hangers. I think this horn could have another life in it. Upper range could still sing, but low Bb was stuffy. 3rd slide damage. And the rough intonation you might expect. All slides moved. Clockwork mech and valves worked okay, a bit soft and could use alignment.
Does anyone else have one of these horns? Have you seen any cornets or tubas by this maker? Do people get excited about these?
