Tuba solos with band

I would appreciate some recommendations for an enjoyable tuba solo for a strong senior student playing with a band that is young and inexperienced. Thanks.

Harold L. Walters Concertante comes to mind. Band part is a 2.5 to 3, IIRC... if it's still available. I couldn't find it anywhere other than with piano accompaniment.

This piece is probably too easy for what you're thinking, but American Riversongs by Pierre LaPlante has a great tuba solo that I always enjoyed playing!

Does Kendor rent the band accompaniment? Their website only lists the piano one.

I LOVE Bencriscutto's 'Concertino.' If you have a student playing it, I rewrote the ending and the second cadenza.

I don't really know about the rental of the band parts for A Touch of Tuba. It's been so long since I've played it. I performed it 4-5 times and the band I played it with always had the parts and score. I think it was popular because it crammed a few styles into a very short and listenable piece.
The Bencriscutto is much more difficult than the Dedrick piece. But, I did have a student make All-State and All Eastern (NY) playing the Bencriscutto. The piece sounds good both at a moderate tempo and at light speed.

Beelzebub is pretty playable for a high school senior.
