Miraphone 56A Kaiser Baritone - Pitch

Post by ParLawGod »

I bought a Miraphone 56A Kaiser Baritone a few years ago (I use it for German gigs). Great horn overall! Tone is fantastic, rotors are nice - however, I need to use several alternate fingerings to keep the pitch manageable. Anyone else own this horn, and is it the same for you? :tuba:

I don't find that to be a very challenging learning curve, so (I guess?) I'd rate is as "not bad".

Does the Miraphone sport more serious issues than this?

Is that one of the stovepipe models or the looks-like-a-regular-euph-body models (the 49?)?
