I've been meaning to purchase a gig bag for the MackBrass CC410 Tuba (which is a clone of the Miraphone 186)
Height:39"
Bell:17.5"
Looking into a couple brands but need personal help making sure it would fit my instrument properly:
Gard Mid-Suspension Large 19.5" Bell Tuba Gig Bag----- Height is right at 39" to fit but may think bell cushoning too big (19.5") as that would be and extra 2" or space
Tuxedo Gig Bag however I know WWBW does not have them in stock right now.
Also not wanting the miraphone bag because I dislike that it is Blue.
Any personal opinions or experiences with these gig bags and said instrument shape would be appreciated!

I have the miraphone bag and couldn't be much happier. It fits like a glove, is easy to walk with, and is much easier to get in the car without having to finagle out the car seats.
I know you don't care for the blue, but it is a pretty slick bag for the 410.

I agree with Cdub. If you can get over your dislike of the blue, you really aren’t going to find a better bag for that horn around that price range. I’ve owned gard and tuxedo bags as well. The Miraphone is absolutely the best of the bunch for protection and ease of transport.

I've owned a Mack 410, and all three bags mentioned. You *will not* find a better fit than the Miraphone bag, as your horn is (for the purpose of bag fitting) a 186. The Gard would be my next choice if you absolutely can't stand the blue, and the Tuxedo last - the smaller of their current offerings fit my 410 a little too snugly, exposing the bell rim to a lot of potential damage.

Re: Mackbrass CC410 Tuba Gig Bag Help
Hi,
While I like the Miraphone bags I don't like spending that much money. The listed price on these Protec bags is cheaper. This might be an alternative. https://www.dillonmusic.com/protec-smal ... black.html I have one of these bags for my F tuba. (Wessex Berg) The listed dimensions should fit a Mack Brass 410 miraphone clone. (I have a 4 valve Miraphone 186 CC) My Miraphone does fit into it minus the extra padding I purchased for my F. There are also various additional padding options (beyond what is supplied with the bag) from Protec that attach to the inside with velcro. I am very satisfied with mine for the F.
Hope this is helpful,,,

For my son's Mack 410, I got a Wessex gigbag for their Mahler model. Same horn, works great, very good price.
