Ebay Special

Post by Charlie C Chowder »

Bought a Besson 17 tuba mouth piece for my Besson BBb. The shank was too small for the Besson, but it fits my 1890 G. Conn Eb upright three in front tuba perfectly. Tried to play and found a small 1/8" hole had been drilled into it. No back pressure. Put tape over it and she plays just fine. I am still trying to replace all of my MP collection that mysteriously disappeared when I was gone for a month two years back. At least now I can play all of the tubas that I have.

Thanks Bloke for the advice and the big York bit. I have eight tuba toys with four different shank sizes.

And a lot of fun playing them.
