None of us do everything right as parents.
However, when my 3-year-old daughter is in the back seat during our morning commute, intensely humming along to Canzona per sonare no. 2 for the 5th time in a row this morning, I feel like I've done at least something right.
We are lucky enough to get Boston's WCRB up here, and one morning last week a brass quintet recording of the Canzona played. After it was done, I asked if she liked it, and she asked for it again. Luckily I had the Antiphonal Music of Gabrieli CD in the car and was proudly able to announce, "Boy do I have something for you." She has been working on singing along "that song we listened to yesterday" every time we've been in the car since.
