Guidance: Gooseneck and bits for Eb York Artist Sousaphone

Post by 2basteve@gmail.com »

I acquired an Eb York "Artist" sousaphone with the gooseneck and tuning bit(s) missing. Before I go too far down the road of trying to find something that will work, I thought I'd try to get some advise so I can head in the right direction. I haven't determined the age of the horn (and perhaps can't) but the serial number is 28227. Cosmetically the horn is in fair condition and I don't really care about trying to get original replacements. I just want to be able to get the horn as "in tune" as possible by getting the mouthpiece where it should be in relation to the leadpipe. Any guidance in the right direction will be appreciated. Thanks.
