Does your face move?

At a recent dinner, the husband was telling us that his brother has played Baritone for a long time. But to be able to play more, he has added the Cello, as there are more parts written for it. Then he said that the brother's face is always moving when he plays the Cello. I have been asked many times way I move my face when playing one of my stringed instruments. I too started and still play a brass instrument. So is the a common thing among the brass players that double on non wind instruments?

Wondering,

Ask any guitar player if they can keep from moving their mouth when using a wah wah pedal. Guilty as charged.

I understand the overt facial movements. As with the body movements that that is driven by the music. But I have unconscious movement. I do not have any idea that I am doing what ever it is, but I have been told many times by many people that my face moves a lot when I play. My wife (who is not a musician) says that she finds it distracting. But she love for me to play when she is admitted into the hospital and is on meds. I have sat in front of a mirror to watch myself and can see nothing. One friend says that it looks like I am Praying.

Not something that I am going to let bather me,
