Be a hoarder! Don't sell anything! Someday, when you can barely move in the house and all your outbuildings are ready to burst, a TV crew will show up and make an episode of "The New Carperbaggers".

Just to double check my thinking...

Anything keeping a top action tuba from going in a front action bag?

How bad an idea is that?

My kneejerk thoght is it matters where the valves are pointing on a front action tuba, but nothing is sticking out so much on a top action, so the fact it goes in backwards isn't so big a deal.

Of course most of my bag experience is far from fine tuned.

Not sure about the actual amount, but I have two of them from Mr. Cronkhite and they seem to wear like iron. I have had an excellent experience with the protection factor as well.
