probably/maybe...
...particularly if no big cooties (sickness) epidemic this year.
Last year, I asked others to try to take precautions...and took precautions myself...but ended up sick -myself - afterwards anyway.

Barring incident, I'll be there.

Incident happened.....I will not be attending. It figures the year I was finally going to do the smart thing and stay until Sunday, my little brother has to fly out to L.A. to be in a movie. Hopefully next year.

Last year you had a bunch of new horns, including the chicagos and the contrabass trombone. Can't wait to see what you have this year. Are you going to do the barnstorming tour between Washington and San Antonio again this year?

Exhibits should include the production 6/4 BBb Prokofiev, the new BBb Kaiser (which was a big hit on European tour - with prototype sold to German professional), new 6-valve rotary F, new British compensated F and a new 3/4 front piston BBb.

Don’t plan to do a barnstorming tour this year! I will more likely fly in and out :)

I will be there. I've missed a few recently because of travel conflicts, but this one fits right in between two other trips. Arriving Wed and staying at the Virginian Suites. Did anyone else notice that the dates are wrong on the flyer?

I see the problem - on the page for the USABTEW 2019, there is a link to download the 2018 program and the one-page "printable schedule".
They both describe the 2018 Workshop.

Yes, I plan on at least getting to the Tubafours reunion concert. I saw them at the 1995 International Brassfest at Indiana. I am really looking forward to that one.

Well here we are again. Anyone know if the partial government shut down will effect the workshop?
I know last year it would have, but this isn't as big a shut down as in the past.

Looks like I’ll be a few weeks late to Florida to make the trip. School breaks never line up nicely with these conferences.

displaying Sellmansberger mouthpieces and JP (John Packer) euphoniums and tubas (along with the professional-grade English baritone).

I won't be bringing one of the JP379BB (5/4 rotary BBb) tubas nor one of the compensating JP378 (5/4 BBb compensating), unless I get a specific request, as display space is limited.

=====================================================

If anyone REALLY wants to see the JP379BB (German-style 5/4 rotary BBb) or the JP378 (3+1 5/4 compensating BBb), I would need to know NOW, because - otherwise - I don't plan on bringing these to display. That having been said, these are both amazing BBb wind band/school band/brass band instruments.

I don't plan on bringing either of these, unless someone REALLY has some serious interest in them, and expresses it soon.

Joe, what tubas will you be bringing?

I won't be there this year, but maybe next year. My family is in Baltimore, so it should be an easy trip...
