Gig Bag Question
I am currently looking for a gig bag for a John Packer 379CC. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on what brands to look at. I'm new to the tuba accessory market and am not entirely sure what brands are going to give me a quality bag. Thanks!

Re: Gig Bag Question
Altieri all the way. Everything about them is high quality and well thought through. Balance when carrying as a backpack or like a suitcase is wonderful. Lots of protection.

Re: Gig Bag Question
I think the Gard bag is probably the closest fit. The Tuba Exchange bag is about 2 inches too big height-wise, but I'm not sure how much that actually affects things. I should also mention that I'm trying to keep things below $250, so the Altieri bags are kind of out of the picture.

The cronkhite bag for a Hirsbrunner hb21 should fit that horn. Call Balimore brass and they can give you details. They are really high quality bags.

Re: Gig Bag Question
It's worth checking out Wessex if you need an affordable bag. I used to have one for my Mackaphone 186, and it worked well. Plus, it was cheap.
