She fought some really bad cancer...was "in remission/cured/whatever", it came back, and she just lost the second battle today.

She and her husband are wonderful people, and are raising a great son (in his middle grades).

Her husband is a really wonderful person, and a fine "amateur" (you know: "professional" - based on some of your definitions) tuba player.

You don't need to know their names. Put them in your prayers, and send out some positive vibes to the tuba-player dad and his son. As she has been a saint on earth, I have no worries about her eternal soul.

This is very sad made even worse by it being during a holiday season. I will most certainly remember the family in prayer and send whatever "good vibes" I can.

Prayers and positive energy sent.

Bloke, I am sending prayers and energy for your well-being, too. The process of watching this whole tragedy unfold surely wasn't a positive experience for you.

I am not identifying this person for obvious reasons, but it really touched me that someone I know who is a working-class person – and I also know that they would like to buy a new tuba for themselves but just don't have the money to do that right now – we're offering to send some money to this man and his son, were they in need.
I believe financially they are OK, but this really demonstrated to me that bad times and emergencies certainly tend to bring out the best in people.
