Champion Eb Helicon, Can they be brought back to life?

Looking over at the eBay I see a
Eb Champion Helicon.
3v. Interesting wrap.
I’d guess from catalogues around 1910
Anyone brought one of these Champion (or similar Ditson, Lyon and Healy) back to life?
If functioning, How’s the sound, pitch and tuning?
I don’t have specs but recall fairly small bore, small tuba receiver.
