I don't know what's more strange... that tuba, or the fact they have a tenor Bb version they refer to as a marching euphonium...

I saw a sousaphone player in a polka band at an Octoberfest in Fredericksburg, TX sitting in a folding chair with one leg crossed over the other, his leadpipe and bits swung to the opposite side, and playing left handed on the valves. This might be perfect for him, but I'm not sure the microphone he had in the bell (why???) would work with it. :D

If I got the leadpipe angle on that thing to where I wouldn't break my neck trying to play it, the bell would be pointed pretty much at the floor. Maybe it's someone's idea of a joke.
