I wonder what he would have thought about that bright "light" over the manger/cave/stall two thousand some-odd years ago. And those local rednecks (aka shepherds) who stopped by. The rich offering-giver 1 percenter dudes were still on their way and wouldn't be showing up for a while yet. And when they finally got there, these ivy-league visitors had the nerve to sneak out the back on the way home without even saying goodbye to the local powers-that-be.

When this man was first called to serve in our church, he had a reputation of serving at churches for a couple of years before moving on. I would like to see an end to this pattern on behalf of his wife and 2 daughters, but given his current way of operating, I'm afraid that is not likely going to change.

That's too bad. I'm sorry. Unfortunately there are some people whose ambitions alienate good people who want to serve.
