Tis the season to be petty...……

Amazing what ego can do to the spirit of the season.

Next year - RUN with that plan.

Merry Christmas everybody!

Then bring a crusty ugly beat up tuba from here on.
If they say anything say, "HOW DARE YOU. I am a professional."

This does sound petty. Is the "Music and Worship Leader" new to your church?

I haven't seen a church that doesn't have petty empire builders.

I wonder what he would have thought about that bright "light" over the manger/cave/stall two thousand some-odd years ago. And those local rednecks (aka shepherds) who stopped by. The rich offering-giver 1 percenter dudes were still on their way and wouldn't be showing up for a while yet. And when they finally got there, these ivy-league visitors had the nerve to sneak out the back on the way home without even saying goodbye to the local powers-that-be.

That's too bad. I'm sorry. Unfortunately there are some people whose ambitions alienate good people who want to serve.

And exactly why I totally gave up on being a member of churches. I have my religion outside in Nature; God is everywhere.

That's ridiculous. You can at least decorate your sweater, correct?
