Check out Days of Wine and Roses too.

Bass trombone only at the intro and the denouement.

Deliciousness in between!! :tuba:

We used to play these as well as others REALLY LOUD back in Kolig during keggers...

Pissed most people off but we won a few converts. 8)

It was at the performing arts center downtown for the Medical College of Tennessee. My niece got a masters in medical lap technology. She is way smarter than the rest of the family.

bloke, I almost want a cimbasso now after seeing and hearing yours...

...but there's just something about F instruments. I can play E-flat, C, and B-flat, but F fingerings give me fits.

I play cimbasso (bass trombone parts) in the Depot Town Big Band (Ypsilanti, Michigan). We play at a local restaurant once a month. The horn always raises a few eyebrows!

Sweet recording Joe! Does anyone know who played on that? I remember reading on the contrabass compendium site they actually used a slide contra and not a bass trombone, at least on other tracks.

I was lucky enough to play bass trombone on a few orchestra+rock band numbers years ago in Indiana, hell of a good time!
