I'm trying to remove my 3rd valve for cleaning but after I have the top screw off, the linkage disconnected and the bottom cap off, I am having trouble getting it to fall out. How hard do you need to tap it with a hammer?

OK, I was just being too gentle! Gave it a little harder tap on a piece of wood and I got it.

MUCH better than going too hard at the start and possibly doing serious damage. Never hurts to ask for help either.
