Tuba Playing and Bifocals or Progressive lenses

As I have gotten older, my distance vision has improved. My reading however sucks. I have the eye doc check my vision at the distance I set from my stand and had a pair of single vision glasses made to use when playing. I think they cost about $85-90 for the single vision fwiw.
