I love this.
It's nice to see a tuba in an ad that isn't the butt of a joke!

Agreed: cool and of course, Jeff is using the right tuba and one of our mouthpieces.
Symphonic sound starts with the bass line! (Joh. Brahms).

Said the composer who may have cut all of the extra tuba out of Dvorak 9 as the editor for the symphony while Antonin was in the U.S.
Very interesting lecture by Gene Porkorny at ITEC 2008 regardng this, and why there are no tuba parts past Sibleius' 2nd Symphony...(hopefully I'm remembering the details of this lecture correctly?)

Apparently his tuba player was a drunk, couldn't count rests, and screwed up the premiere of the 2nd. Sibelius then got wise and stopped writing tuba parts.

Finns drink? Nah Seriously though, the drunken tuba player should have had his *** fired. Surely there was more than one competent tuba player in Sibelius' area. In sixty-five years of amateur and semi-pro orchestral playing, I've always heard that the rule is not to drink before or during a job. Hrrruummph.
