LaBar trumpet?

Postby bcollins » Fri Mar 08, 2019 2:53 pm

Curious if anybody has heard of a LaBar trumpet. It is an older professional trumpet. Can’t find anything other than LaBar etched on the bell inside a large star. Can’t find anything online with that name.

very wild guess:

Based on the type of name and the type of engraving, my very wild guess is Czech.

In VERY small print, is "Czecho-Slovakia" engraved on the mouthpiece receiver?

Well...if you didn't notice that before (but I'm thinking you probably did)...a little bit more is now known. 8)

If it doesn't say "GDR", it may have been made west of the iron curtain...
