I doubt that there is anything, really, could be done to that piece to make it more palatable to more people. :(

Well, there are more interesting ways to practice steady tempo than banging away with a metronome.
JP/Sterling 377 Eb; 1914 Conn Monster Eb (for sale; my avatar), ca. 1905 Fillmore Bros 1/4-size Eb; Mr. P 6.4, Stofer Helleberg, Kellyburg; for sale: Bach 42B trombone; recently retired from bass guitar after 44 years

' agreed, and I've done just what that fellow has done...with many excerpts from many pieces in many genres...with my pawn-show-bought drum machine.

I've discussed "tuning" here (too often?)
It's a weakness, which (as I dwell on it so much in my personal playing time) some colleagues seem to view it as a strength. (no...it's not.)
Rhythm (here inside bloke's head) is yet another weakness, about which the same remarks could be made. Admittedly, I may not execute super-complex rhythm(S) correctly the first time I see them, but rhythm (steady tempi) are something else that is a weakness, and something else on which I dwell in my personal playing time...
..."resonance"..."sonority"..."tone production"...??
' funny how those things seem to take care of themselves, when pitch and rhythm are given enough attention. :|
