A friend of mine is trying to sell this horn. He says it’s Conn. It has a recording bell and 3 valves and is a BBb. I really have no idea. Anyone able to give at least a ballpark figure or perhaps a range?

Yep King 1240. Lacquer is in pretty good condition. $700-800 is fair and all (unfortunately) those are worth. They are the best sounding with recording bell and great dixieland jazz horns.
