Any idea what this is worth?

A friend of mine is trying to sell this horn. He says it’s Conn. It has a recording bell and 3 valves and is a BBb. I really have no idea. Anyone able to give at least a ballpark figure or perhaps a range?

It's a King 1240.
Rough guess would be around $500 to $700, depending on condition.

Yep King 1240. Lacquer is in pretty good condition. $700-800 is fair and all (unfortunately) those are worth. They are the best sounding with recording bell and great dixieland jazz horns.

Thank you for the info gentlemen. My friend seemed pretty happy with the general price range and was glad to have the correct info re: make and model.
