ZOOM Q8 Video and audio recorder

Has anyone used the Zoom Q8? I like the fact that it has multitrack capabilities with mic gain. If you have used one what are your thoughts? Currently I do have the Q2 but I am wondering if the Q8 is worth the extra money.

I've always sort of wondered also. If the Q8 is worth it, or buying a separate mic and camera for the same cost would be more of a value. That said, having an all in one easy to use platform has merits.

the audio qualities are very good. I like that you can have a video with good audio and a separate .wav stereo recording, useful for making audio enhancements later, or use it in other audio context. You can plug in external audio sources or mics, and have manual gain control. The video quality is not comparable with the audio, imho it is for YT use mainly. On a video cam with external mic you will not have the extra .wav file and perhaps not the possibilities to set the gain right.
