Tuba Euph Quartet Rep.

Post by Levi12345 »

What are some good pieces for Tuba Euphonium Quartet that could be played by a good highschool ensemble? They can be arrangements or original pieces.

For original music, take a look into the libraries of John Stevens and Mike Forbes, 2 very prolific writers for tuba quartet. Plenty of their music could be played by good HS students.

Skip Gray has made some great arrangement as well for grade 3 and 4 groups. They are available from:

Hope this helps!

I have fond memories of studying with Skip at the University of Kentucky and playing through some of these pieces in tuba/euph ensemble. There are some nice ones there and I think a good high school group could do them well. The March for the Prince of Wales is fun.
