Hey Tubenet,
I had heard a while ago about a couple mouthpiece brands with pieces similar to the Loud Mouthpieces, but I can't seem to find that info again.
I have a few LM pieces, but I haven't been able to get a hold of a 12, and have only see them go for more than I'm willing to spend on trying out a new piece. I was wondering if anyone knew about other similar pieces with the shallow bowl that I could look into without breaking bank.
Thanks!

The Marcinkewicz N4 is very similar to the Loud LM-10. I haven't found anything that is as shallow with as wide of an inner diameter as the LM-12. For me, the LM-12 is a great tool to have for one application...the LM-10 and the Marcinkewicz N4 are useful for the same application as the LM-12 was designed for as well as many others. If you aren't playing "acoustically" without amplification, I wouldn't use the LM-12 for anything.

For a functioning "mock up", you could use epoxy putty instead of solder, and nail polish or lacquer instead of plating. Given the odds that I could make that solder fill come out smooth and accurate, the mock-up might be superior to the knock-off if it were my workbench.

Found one for you. This one comes with a gold rim.
