Yes, I see. But since the horn is pretty sharp I wouldn't mind it. It would be more like a leadpipe extension. Maybe it's not a good idea.
But I really don't like my small Eb mouthpiece...

Wouldn't it be just better and cheaper to just have the receiver replaced? I can't see it taking more than an hour of shop time.
King (Conn-Selmer) receivers are inexpensive and readily available.
I'm not so sure that lengthening the horn at the receiver is such a good idea, for several reasons.

If the instrument is sharp, borrow/try a sousaphone bit and see how things play (too flat now)?
