Hi all, I picked up a MW 182 a few weeks ago and am looking for a mouthpiece recommendation. It’s my first F tuba so I’m just learning on the smaller horn. On my larger horn I really like the Giddings Bear MMVI mouthpiece, if that helps. Any help is appreciated!

I use a Giddings Churada for mine, and it works very well.

I used the older PT64-S on mine and it was fine. I have used it on every tuba I've owned though, and it has been fine on all of them. I'm someone that the piece has to fit me more than it has to fit the instrument.

I have one, and I use my Yamaha 67C4 on it. I had it supplied to me from the Tuba Exchange years ago when I got my first F, the one in my profile pic. I have used it ever since on F tubas, and it has worked well. Yamaha's website says it's for C tubas, and a 67D4 is for F. I tried the second one, and it is much smaller in the throat. I didn't find that to be a good thing.

Sometimes I also use a Lexan Kellyberg and that is bigger and makes the horn feel bigger on account of it.
