2xJ at ITEC do me a favor?

Hey - I was really hoping to take my Conn 36J to ITEC to figure out which schlipf mute fits. But I'm just not going to get out there this time.
If anyone is bringing a 2xJ- it should be the same size. Maybe stop by Lee Stoffer's stand and see what fits? (I assume he'll be there!)

He doesn't know! In January I was going to bring my horn to the DC conference to test some out, but I couldn't get there either.

I did go to Lee Stofer's place expecting to buy a #7 from all the charts. #7 was not the right one. Any body help a tuba jockey out? I do not know the person who started the thread just saying.

In the past I have emailed Mr. Schlipfinger through his own website (his contact information is listed at the very bottom). I received a response back in English from him (or through his daughter, maybe?) very quickly regarding which model fit a tuba that I had and then I ordered it through Lee Stofer. Ms. Schlipfinger does not necessarily know or have a product for every tuba bell size and shape known to man, but he knows a lot of them and is certainly worth asking about his product offerings.
