Floor Space Saving Tuba Storage

Post by marking »

Look what I made!
My shop is also my practice place. So when I need to use the table saw or change the oil in the mower, I need some floor space. My small collection always seemed to be getting moved around.

Thanks for your concern!
In my day job I'm a carpenter. The Martin is approx 15 pounds and the Conn is slightly more. So, combined, I'm only holding up 30+ lbs.

Great idea! The only thing I might have done differently is to put padded cutouts on it that match the roundness of the bells. That would help to lock them in better, and imho the rack would not be as likely to put a dent in the bell. Just an idea.
