The subject heading states my dumb question for the day. What does the Tubenet Jury say?

Definitely a nope. Compensating tubas are relatively rare, and most I have seen are in Eb, intended for the British Brass Band market. Yamaha, Miraphone and Willson make BBb and Eb compensating tubas. I can't think of any US companies that made Compensating tubas. Of course right now I can't think of many U.S. tuba companies in general, now that Kanstul is gone, and Conn-Selmer has pretty much shrunk their offerings to nothing.
