We have an outlet store for MR Formal here in Portland. I have bought many items from them at cheap prices. I did check with them for what you wanted, they did not have. But I am sure there are other similar store out there. Maybe in your area. I have bought several tails from them for ten bucks. Black ones go for a little more. Their big restock/sale here, come in October, to late for you.

This is maybe not the best option where you're actively losing weight and changing sizes, but there are a number of online sellers now that have video instructions for taking your own measurements, then ordering a custom made suit or tux for reasonable prices. I've used both http://www.studiosuits.com" target="_blank and http://www.itailor.com" target="_blank and have been happy with the results. They don't fit like I imagine an expensive custom-made suit (which I've never had) would, but they serve me much better than similar-priced off-the-shelf items.

They don't come quickly though. If you need something within a month, this probably wouldn't work for you.

"Made in Italy" has been a bit of a scam, with a substantial Chinese garment industry particularly in Prato, in Tuscany, with large numbers of illegal immigrants working under conditions that I imagine may be even worse than back home. Over 3,000 Chinese businesses, 45,000 people, probably more. Then there's the big online retailer of Italian suits and stuff, who will fill your "Made in Italy" order with something labelled "Made in China".

I went to Hobby Lobby looking for toy trains and RC airplanes.
