My dad and i were wondering...
We were polishing my tuba (silver finish) and we were wondering if a certain kind of car wax might work. so, we tried it on a little area of the instrument and it worked wonders! So shiny! Just wondering if this is good, or if it is incredibly bad for the instrument.
Thanks!

I currently use Haggerty's Silver Polish, works very well.
what do you need to do to polish correctly? Do you apply the polish, let it sit for a couple minutes and then dry it? how is it done properly? i'm asking this because i always end up get smears or something that are impossible to get off without a lot of effort. i don't know if i'm using too much or what...
