Today is the birthday of composer John (Johnny) Waldo Green, 1908 – May 15, 1989. Best known for “Body and Soul”, he also wrote “Out of Nowhere” performed here by Teri Parker-Brown, vocals; Chris Olson, guitar; Ralph Hepola, sousaphone (a type of bass tuba).
