Yamaha 822 valve clicking

Hey all
I'm having some trouble with my yfb-822; the second valve is very loud when I release it no matter what I do. I've taken it in to the shop for a cleaning, put on brand new felts and guides. The only thing I haven't replaced is the actual valve and the spring. Everything is closed firmly.
Any ideas on what the problem might be or how to fix it?
Thank you all

When you had it cleaned, did you let the tech know? seems odd that only one valve would do it.

Maybe the valve guide(s)?

Mess with
EVERYTHING BUT the thing (

the top valve cap requiring an extra-firm twist) that is causing the noise.

I bow before you, for you are root.

Put one wrap of Teflon pipe tame around the threads on the valve casing then screw the cap tight. Be careful not to overlap any into the valve. I had an 822 that had the same problem with the second valve. Makes me wonder if you have my old horn.
