Thoughts on creating a mouthpiece

Recently, I made a passing remark to a sponsor of this site about creating a tuba mouthpiece since they were looking at the market for trumpet mouthpieces.

The passing remark got unexpected traction  and they asked for input.

So I kinda thought about what I'd like to see in a mouthpiece. After giving input, they then asked me if about market appeal.

So I come to the TNFJ. For those of you who are rotary players (this includes me), how would you feel about having a Laskey 30G style mouthpiece but with a slightly more rounded rim (I'm thinking like the Geib style rim found on the Chris Olka/Dillon tuba mouthpieces)?

If not that, how would you feel about a RT-88 with a slightly smaller inner cup diameter (I'm thinking 32.8 - 33.0)

Either type would be brass in silver plate.

Keep in mind, the company does not have any official plans to release a mouthpiece.

Would anyone be interested in that?

Definitely a +1 to the smaller inner diamater rt/pt/mrp 88 styled mouthpiece

Smaller RT 88 would be nice. I'm not up on my RT mouthpiece lineup though... That doesn't already exist?

The other one sounds nice too, but for myself, I like smaller rims.

The only reason I dropped my RT-50 was that it was just a little too wide...
