Day before Thanksgiving TUBA and DANCE RECITAL in Chicago

Jose Martinez, Principal Tuba of the National Orchestra of Spain (and former Civic Orchestra of Chicago Principal Tuba), will be in recital with dancer, Schere Soriano.
This TUBA and DANCE RECITAL will give a unique view into the synergy of sound and motion in an incredible display of sonic and visual phrasing at its highest level.
The music will feature American and Spanish composers with piano accompaniment.
The event will occur on Wednesday, Nov. 27 at 5 PM in Buntrock Hall within Symphony Center. 220 S. Michigan Avenue, Chicago. Among varied repertoire, Timothy Higgins: “Poesis” will be performed. A $10 donation will be requested.

I saw a performance with this ensemble in Portugal this past summer. It is absolutely unforgettable. This absolutely must be seen to be believed. Gene Pokorny

Just show up. At the guard station at Orchestra Hall just tell the guard you are going to see the Gene Pokorny event happening in Buntrock Hall at 5pm. They will direct you to the 2nd floor.
