That might be a good description of it. Or maybe, it's "interesting" in the same way that the duck thread is.

The shame is that, other than the wacky intonation, there were a lot of things to like about this tuba. I thought the tone was just gorgeous. If Besson ever figured out how to make it play reasonably well in tune and then put them in to regular production, I would really want one of these, but somehow I don't see that happening.

I guess it's hard to justify a compensating F tuba if the biggest problem with the tuba is intonation.
