So, isn't this tuba just the CC version of the Cerveny 681 BBb? :roll:

All this talk on here about this tuba and the Mira 186 CC & BBb tubas (overrated, imo), yet hardly anyone mentions the Cerveny 681, which is similar in many ways. The ONLY pitch 'issue' I found (for the point-and-shoot intonation 'snobs' here) on the Cerv 681 is the flat 5th partial open D. Everything else was very close/on, even the valve combos once you set your slides. About as point-and-shoot as it gets, and with a better low register and arguably better sound than the Mira 186. IMO, the only thing the Mira 186 is better at is build quality.

Does the wrap have any other purpose besides protecting the instrument and your arm from corrosion?
