I'd like to share with you Alta Tensao For guitar solo
And Atmosferas With Tuba and Mellophone played by me
Atmosfera was recorded at my home. I used an SM58 to capture the tuba sounds (noises?) and an out-of-tune melody of the mellophone.
I used Adobe audition for all the mixtures and high-pass filter.
I used the reverbs of CreativeLabs.
As usual give me some feedback

Thank you for the nice comments!
Yes. All sounds were produced with the tuba or at least "thru" the tuba. The mellophone was for that little theme.
This piece was never intended to be sold nor performed live.
Atmosferas is just like that. Free. As it appears to be "free" music.
But its only appearence. The structure of Atmosfere is very strict. almost predictible.
The melody exists much of the time. But not as we are used to it. Maybe somone will say the only "true" melody is the theme from the Mollophone. And I anderstand. But listen... hear it again. The wind sometimes is almost diatonic! And a resonant harmony centered in B flat...
You gave me an idea. What if this piece was only the background to a tuba or Euphonium solo? This way it could be performed, no?
Thank you again!
