I tried out one about 2 years ago at an all-state convention in FL and thought it was one of the best f tubas I ever played. About a year later, when I had money to purchase an f tuba, I ordered one of these horn and the one I received was needless to say, not very good. If you had a batch to choose from and could find that one good one, buy it. Otherwise I would go with a product that is more consistant. Good luck!
