Gig bag for 2341 Body Only?

Post by Portermusic »

Hello all,

Does anyone have a suggestion for a gig bag for the body of my King 2341? I have a recording bell for Dixieland stuff, and I hate carrying two big, hard cases to gigs. I was hoping there might be a case out there that would fit the body only, witch would be a pretty small case, and then I could carry the bell in the hard case. Or, if anyone knows of a gig bag that would fit the whole horn with the recording bell, that would work too.

Thanks,

Peter

I bet Messina would make one. Probably any custom maker.

Sure! That would be great to know. Thanks for checking!

I’m a huge fan of the detachable bell kings. I’ve been thinking lately that if I had someone like Altieri make me a bag for the bell front horn, that maybe I could put an upright bell one into the bag and have a little extra fabric. Anyone try something like that?
