I would be there if I weren't wearing this huge padded sling after shoulder surgery. Only the 2nd one I've missed in 47 years. May try to come for my TMAA workshop but will likely wait for TBA in July.

I haven’t decided yet. I usually come down for a day and spend the night. I drink in the Hyatt bar with many young music teachers I’ve come to know, mostly through my kids who are teachers. I drive home the following day.

Do you guys usually pay for the convention or do you have other means to get into the exhibit area?

I pay too. It’s only $20.00 for retired members. Once, I got in with an exhibitor’s pass that was offered to me.

I didn’t notice any tuba clinics when I checked out the schedule for this year. Did I miss something?
