A friend purchased a used tuba with the V & E brand name. It is a 4/4 size with 4 rotary valves and is pitched in BBb. The horn plays very nice. Does anyone know the manufacturer or anything about this brand?

V&E was a tuba exchange house brand. No idea about who or where they were made.

I know the V was for Vince and the E was for his wife's name which I did not know.

The original poster should post some pictures. I suspect that the V&E tubas were made in China, but I'm not certain of that.

I'll try to send pictures when our band resumes play which will be in a month or so.

Are the current house brand tubas from the same manufacturer?
