What kind of Miraphone do I have?

Post by Jbtuba90 »

I’m in the process of restoring a miraphone, 4 piston upright valves. It is a detachable bell front, approx 16” bell. SN 8047 so made approx 1972. It looks like it could be a 184 piston ? Can anyone shed any information on what this is?

Looks close ... of course mine is a bell front .. but the description sounds really close .I don’t have the Perinet stamped on it. Maybe because mine was made way before the one in the picture .. Thank you
