There's one of the Chicago Symphony under Solti playing Pictures at an Exhibition live in Japan. I think the subtitle to it is "The meeting of two geniuses" or something like that. It's good enough through a normal TV, but if you have access to a really high-quality sound system...it's really just incredibly good. Also available on VHS.

While not orchestral, the German Brass "Bach for Brass - Live from St Thomas's Church" is one that I would strongly recommend.

I really enjoyed the "Valery Gergiev: In Rehearsal and Performance" DVD with the Rotterdam Phil. Prokofiev's Scythian Suite is the highlight I think, with interviews of Prokofiev's son interlaced with rehearsal and commentary from Gergiev.
The orchestra sounds great, they're an exciting bunch.

There's a Mahler 2 with Abbado conducting the Lucerne Festival Orchestra that I think is absolute magic! Great Tuba from Robin Haggart as well!

I like the DVD, "Keeping Score", The Making of a Performance - Tchaikovsky's 4th Symphony. Performed by the San Francisco Symphony with director, Michael Tilson Thomas.
This DVD goes behind the scenes with Maestro Thomas working with various soloists. Plus it has the full uninterupted performance of Tchaikovsky's 4th Symphony. This program aired on PBS last year.
Keeping Score: MTT on Music (DVD) $25

I think we were talking about this one (at least that it is one to see):
What other German Brass DVDs do you suggest? (I'd like to catch more.)
