Back in 1932 my father purchased a second-hand Martin tuba after having it checked out by Luke DelNegro. It was made in 1927 and resembled the TB-29 pictured in Rick's catalog page, but without the adjustable bits. He used it for about 60 years, and it was well-worn when I inherited it. I sold the original valve section, pictured below, and replaced it with one made by Nirschl. I also gave it an upright bell from a Beuscher helicon, and used it in concert bands for about 20 years until it started to feel too heavy for me. The original valve section appears to be identical to the one on Rick's fiberglass model.

Thanks for pointing me this way. I've actually already contacted Klaus and obtained permission to use the relevant images on the site. What a great and extensive resource it is, and I appreciate him taking the reigns of that database. Ironically, I found my own horn while browsing though the images.

Nope, none yet. Although there may be a picture or two on the Klaus archives. I don't remember for sure...I'll have to double check that
